About the LCSP
The London & Counties Society of Physiologists was founded in 1919 and is the oldest-established and largest organisation of private practitioners of remedial massage and manipulative therapy in the U.K.
Code of Ethics
The LCSP Register requires that its Members adhere to a Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
Education and Training
The LCSP Register approves of the training in Remedial Massage and accepts as meeting the criteria for membership graduates from all the affiliated training schools represented by the governing body of the General Council for Massage Therapy (GCMT).
Insurance
The LCSP ensures that there exists extensive insurance cover for each practising member insofar as claims arising in respect of Professional Indemnity (Malpractice); Public Liability; and Products Liability.

The application process

If you are looking to join the LCSP please view the LCSP Information Pack, which tells you what your membership entitles.

If you feel this is the right organisation to be a member of then please download the following forms: Application Form and Membership Subscription Form. Fill in and send along with the required information to our registered office.

Applicants for full, associate or affiliate membership are required to pay: .
- Full/Associate Membership subscription £130.00
- Student membership subscription £25.00
- Affiliate Membership subscription £80
- Overseas Membership subscription £80
- Note: should a student member qualify for transfer to associate membership during the year, then the subscription paid previously will be credited and the balance of £105.00 will be payable at that time for associate membership

Once we have received your application forms we will review your application. In some cases you may be required to attend an interview with one of our Board members.
