This workshop will be addressing treatment and rehabilitation post operative pelvic health surgery, where the focus will be on those women who have had problems in childbirth, C-sections, hysterectomies, and pelvic floor repairs.
This can often lead to trauma and shock which often remains unacknowledged. We will take a whole body approach to treatment addressing scar tissue both internally and externally. Explore coaching skills to support changes and choices these women may choose on the road to recovery. This recovery may be from 6 weeks to 20 years for some women.
Some women could have a diagnosis of hyper mobility syndrome, this must be considered when beginning treatment, we have to be aware of how deep the scar tissue can reach within the visceral tissues.
The aim of this workshop
- Assessment skills.
- Reviewing anatomy.
- Soft Tissue Mobilisations and Muscle Energy Techniques that are gentle, non challenging to the nervous system.
- Coaching skills to enable choice for the people we are treating.
- Movements to enable reconnection with body.
Cost for two day workshop is £350.00 which includes tea/coffee and lunches
