This workshop will explore Dr Vladmir Janda’s theories on Muscle imbalance of the lower quadrant.
We will be looking into:
- How muscle imbalance occurs
- How the Tonic muscles are prone to tightness and phasic muscles prone to weakness
- Investigate the impact of muscle tightness has on muscles and the body leading to fatigue, the consequence being the body struggling to hold posture and ease of movement
- Exploring how the C.N.S. responds to ‘tight’ or ‘weak’ messages it is receiving
Explore movement for patient the patient to enable their recovery through imagery based on Eric Franklin, breathing routine to enable patients to relax to their own body, with a conscious awareness
