Sometimes burnout can be hard to spot…
Burnout can creep up on us. We’re not always aware of the signs, we’re focused on getting through the day, the week, we don’t recognise what’s happening to us.
Looking after others is demanding, and some Therapists are finding they are taking on patients with more complex needs since the pandemic.
Working through the pandemic has been stressful – routines have altered, business costs increased, some colleagues have found it too hard to continue working in this sector. It’s easy to start feeling overwhelmed and as Therapists we mustn’t forget to look after ourselves. If you’ve been feeling like this recently maybe it’s time to pause and reflect.
