Served in the Royal Navy for 22 years, specialised in Physical Training, contract expired in 1993, worked as a Personal Trainer until 1997. Retrained in Remedial Massage Therapy, (Dip) Sports Therapy (HNC) and Manipulative Therapy. (Higher Dip) Opened a Sports Injury Clinic in 2000 realising that I still had a lot to learn, and still learning! One of the first to work in a NHS Doctor’s Surgery as a Complementary Therapist and one of the last to apply, through the Grandparenting system and register as a Chartered Physiotherapist.

Now Semi- retired in Abergavenny. working part time from home as a Remedial Massage Therapist, No Hands Massage Therapist and Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage Therapist. Hobbies include playing the Piano, singing 2nd base in the local church choir, golf and trying to stay fit and healthy.

I don’t believe that there is always a single solution to a problem and the answer for treating all conditions is synergism – the integration of many modalities that is needed to truly individualise patient wellness.
