Basically, the digestive system is one long tube from mouth to anus. Chewing creates peristaltic waves through the digestive system, and keeping the body moving helps to keep good gut health. If you have a sedentary life style, sit or stand for long periods due to work, you may find you get issues, i.e. indigestion, cramps, irritable bowel, constipation, diarrhoea, and other digestive problems. Anxiety, worry, and stress may also compress the natural gut movement. These rubbing points are neuro-lymphatic points which may aid the circulation of the gut area, and reduce discomfort.
