On September 25th 2021, the International Kinesiology College (IKC) is organising a global event to raise awareness of some self-empowerment well-being techniques. The IKC is a complementary therapy “college without walls”. The event will be using techniques from Touch for Health Kinesiology, an energetic approach to health and well-being, which merges modern chiropractic and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Organised activities will support the heart meridian energy of all participants, during the time at which this energy channel is at its most receptive: 11am-1pm.

Beginning at 11am in Samoa, local centres will offer heart-energy balances on a donation basis, As the clock strikes 11 in the next time zone, New Zealand, heart energy balancing will begin there and so on around the globe for the 24-hour+ period.

The IKC event will create a “Mexican wave ” of heart-meridian balancing, involving a record number of countries being connected between 11am and 1pm local time. In addition, at each participating centre, members of the public will be offered the opportunity to have a “Touch for Health energy balance” and walk away with some self-help techniques to boost their own ” feel-good” factor.

“I treasure the Touch for Health Synthesis. I see it as a candle, lighting others the way to better health and living. I believe that each of us holds such a candle, perhaps as yet unlit, that can serve to guide those we cherish safely toward a more abundant life.

I hope, through Touch for Health, to pass my light along to you, so that your candle in turn may illuminate the way for others” Dr. John F Thie, Founder Touch for Health

I would summarise myself as a ‘bodyworker’ of over 25 years experience. I have been a member of the KF since 1993. I joined the KF Policy Board in 2013 and was involved with training standards and became the chairperson until 2019. I encourage students to join the KF for support in this profession. I have helped people over the years with a wide range of problems, physically, emotionally and by looking at nutritional support – ‘you are what you eat’…I expanded my practice skills by training in RMTi – Rhythmic Movement, to expand my knowledge on working with children/adults. I qualified as a Consultant in 2019 – https://www.rhythmicmovement.org/consultants/details/7/308

My objective is to promote the use and understanding of Touch for Health and Bodywork Kinesiology to the general public, for health care/wellness and support for themselves and their family. I love empowering people by teaching ‘energetic exercises and applications’ for self – use and sharing. I absolutely love teaching students who wish to learn the art and skills of ‘muscle response testing/monitoring’ and to watch them blossom and grow… and to guide them onto becoming practitioners/carers/instructors, or whatever their dreams intend…
